Titan Tech Scans

Commercial 3D scanning and aerial survey. Heritage digitization, reverse engineering, site photogrammetry, and sovereign digital preservation — ground and sky, delivered into RigidVault.

Founded by Liam Kavanagh — Director of Technology Assets, Kavanagh Industries. Aerial operations via RigidAero™.

Founded by Liam Kavanagh · Director of Technology Assets

Every dimension. Ground to sky. Into the vault.

Titan Tech Scans is the commercial scanning arm of the Kavanagh Industries ecosystem. Liam Kavanagh digitizes physical objects and sites — from heritage artifacts to industrial parts to full properties — and stores them as verified assets in RigidVault. Now with aerial survey capability operational, Titan Tech can capture the complete spatial picture: ground-level detail and site-wide aerial coverage in a single engagement.

Every scan receives a Digital Birth Certificate with full provenance metadata — who captured it, when, in what condition, with what equipment. Your object, structure, or site is preserved digitally with the same chain of custody you’d expect from a museum. That record lives in RigidVault, not a cloud platform you don’t own.

Ground + Aerial: now a single engagement

Titan Tech Scans handles millimeter-level ground capture. RigidAero handles site-wide aerial photogrammetry. Book them together for a complete spatial record — objects, interiors, exteriors, rooflines, surrounding land — with one deliverable package stored sovereign in RigidVault.

Ecosystem Thread

Titan Tech isn’t a standalone scanner. It’s the physical data entry point for the KI platform.

Every scan Liam captures feeds into the same data architecture that powers RigidVault, RigidEngineering, RigidForge, and RigidMemory. The scan is just the beginning of what that data can do.

Scan flows into RigidVault RigidEngineering RigidForge RigidMemory

Every pillar in the KI ecosystem is interconnected. No product works alone.

What People Are Saying

Liam scanned a complete vintage lathe for our restoration project — chuck, ways, tailstock, everything. The engineering mesh was clean enough to go straight into NX for clearance checking. Saved us weeks of manual measurement.

— Greg S., Restoration Project Lead — Midwest Machine Collective

We needed as-built documentation on a 1960s press brake before we could spec replacement tooling. Titan Tech had it scanned, modeled, and measured in two days. Twenty-five years in this industry and that’s the fastest I’ve seen that kind of work.

— B. Chen, Plant Engineer — Lakeside Metal Forming

Liam scanned my grandfather’s hand-made fly-fishing rods — items that exist nowhere else in the world. The scan fidelity captured taper profiles we couldn’t have measured any other way. We now have a digital record that will outlast the physical rods.

— Thomas A., Heritage Scan Client — Titan Tech Scans

FAQ

Common questions.

What kinds of objects do you scan?
Almost anything that fits the tier sizes. Heritage objects like jewelry, musical instruments, tools, and heirlooms. Legacy mechanical parts. Small sculptures and collectibles. If you’re unsure, send photos and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a fit.
How accurate are the scans?
Our Einstar VEGA captures at up to 0.02mm point accuracy with color texture. That’s sufficient for most heritage, archival, 3D printing, and reverse engineering applications. Metrology-grade inspection work (sub-10-micron) requires different equipment — we’ll tell you upfront if your project needs that level of precision and recommend someone who does it.
What’s a “provenance record” and why does it matter?
Every scan comes with a written narrative describing the object, its origin (as you share it with us), the scan date and operator, and a permanent archival entry in our RigidVault system. Years or generations from now, anyone holding that vault entry has a complete, tamper-evident story of the object — not just a 3D file with no context. Most scanning services deliver a mesh and walk away. We don’t.
Can I use the scans for 3D printing?
Yes. All mesh files are printable. Some heritage objects require cleanup (filling scan artifacts, sealing non-manifold geometry) to be print-ready — if your goal is printing, let us know at intake and we’ll include that cleanup in the delivery.
Who owns the scan data?
You do. Fully. The files are yours. The RigidVault entry is yours. We don’t upload your data to third-party cloud services, we don’t train AI models on it, and we don’t retain rights. That’s built into how Kavanagh Industries operates — sovereignty is the architecture, not the policy.
